Fall baseball provides an excellent opportunity to:
* work on and improve skills
* meet new teammates and coaches
* extend your baseball season
Registration and volunteer forms are included

| The Fall 2010 Season will be divided into
the following age groups* *Child's age as of 4/30/10 (April 30th is LLB’s Age Determination Date) |

| 6-7 year olds | This age group will play regular games with a combination of coaches and players pitching, with a focus on preparing players for the move into the Pioneer 7 and Pioneer 8 division that they would be eligible for in the 2011 season. We may have focused training sessions to help promote player development. The goal of these training sessions would be to ensure that players are exposed to the proper fundamentals at an early age so that they may gain more enjoyment as they play and progress in later years. The exact format and timing of these training session is to be determined. |
| 8-9 year olds | This age group will play regular games with children pitching and real baseball rules (balls and strikes called, stealing, etc). The focus for this group will be to prepare players for the move into the Colonial 9 and Minors divisions for the 2011 spring season. |
| 10-11 year olds | This age group will play regular games with children pitching and real baseball rules (balls and strikes called, stealing, etc) and will focus on preparing players for the Minors and Majors divisions for the 2011 spring season. |
| 12-14 year olds | This age group will participate in a transitional program facilitated by seasoned instructors including our President and other staff members. The goal of this program is to provide an opportunity for players to learn and practice skills that are necessary on the larger diamond (90' bases), and that are applicable to the associated rules for this age group in a fun and educational atmosphere. There will be 4-6 sessions for this group typically held during weeknights or Sunday evenings. This group will not be playing regular games but will enjoy the skills & drills that reinforce the traditional game on the 90' diamond. This program began in 2006 and has grown to double the size in the first 3 years with very positive feedback from attendee's. |

The fall baseball season will run for approximately 2 months,
beginning September 11th and ending October 30th.
Games will likely be held once per week, with games on
Saturdays and rain dates on Sundays.
There is the possibility of a weeknight game depending on holidays and other
scheduling issues.
Team standings & records will not be maintained
There is a $50, non-refundable registration fee (for the 6-11 year old age
groups) payable no later than 8/13/10.
The fee for the 12-14 year old transitional program costs $30 per child, also
due no later than 8/13/10.
($15 late fee per child after 8/13/10 subject to space availability)
Please help us to plan appropriately by registering early!
Don't wait, as there are no guarantees for late registration.
Players in the 6-11 year old age groups will receive a team shirt & hat. All games at Michael J. Tighe Park.
MANAGERS NEEDED! Check the box at the bottom of the registration form.
If you are selected as a manager you will be required to have a 2010 Volunteer form on
record & to complete the Freehold Twp. background check process.
Documentation requirements for NEW Freehold Twp. resident players joining the
FTLL: you MUST include a copy of the player’s birth certificate & three
(3) documents from the following categories as proof of Freehold Twp. residence.
Document categories: Drivers License; Voter’s Registration; School
Records; Welfare Records; Federal, State and local records; Support payment
records; Homeowner’s or tenants records; or Utility bills. You may only provide
one document from each category. Please send copies as they will be shredded
after verification and will not be returned.
