The Freehold Twp. Little League is honored to host the Junior League Eastern Regional Tournament for it's 3rd straight year. State Champions from Maine to Maryland will participate in the double elimination tournament with the dream of earning a berth to the Junior League World Series in Taylor, Michigan.

The tournament will kick-off with a banquet for the teams & guests on Friday, August 3rd. The opening ceremony & parade of teams will be held on Saturday, August 4th at 9 AM. The games will be held daily at Michael J. Tighe Park (formerly Liberty Oak Park) in Freehold, NJ on Saturday thru Tuesday: 10 AM, 1 PM, 4 PM & 7 PM; Wednesday: 10 AM, 1 PM, 4 PM; & Thursday: 11 AM & 2 PM (if necessary).

~ The Teams ~
2007 State Champions & Host
(winners will be added following their respective State Championship)

Connecticut: Pawcatuck Little League, Pawcatuck CT (8-2)

Pawcatuck LL will be making their first appearance in the Regional's. They will play their first game on August 5th against the New Hampshire / Host winner.

Delaware:  M.O.T. (Middletown, Odessa, Townsend), Middletown DE (9-1)

M.O.T. LL will be making their first trip to the Eastern Regional Tournament and will play their first game on August 4th against New York.

Maine: Bangor Westside/East Little League, Bangor ME (Record: 9-1)

Bangor Westside/East LL will be making it's second consecutive trip to the Regional's. They went undefeated in the District Tournament, and after losing the opener in the States, won 5 consecutive games to capture the State title.
They will play the tournament opener on August 4th against Barrington LL from Rhode Island.

Maryland: Arbutus Little League, Baltimore MD (Record: 6-0)

Arbutus LL went undefeated in the District and State Tournaments.
They will play their first game on August 5th against the winner of the NJ / Massachusetts game on August 4th.

Massachusetts: Somerset Little League, Somerset MA (8-1)

They will play their first game on August 4th against New Jersey.

New Hampshire: Suncook Little League, Suncook NH (Record: 2-0)

Suncook LL will be making it second consecutive appearance at the Regional.
They defeated Derry LL in 2 games to capture the state crown.
They will play their first game on August 4th against Middletown LL, the Host team from NJ District 19.

New Jersey: South Wall Little League, Wall NJ (Record 12-1)

After losing their first district game, South Wall won their next 12 to capture the State title. This is their first visit to the Regional's. They will play their first game on August 4th against Massachusetts.

NJ District 19 Host: Middletown Little League, Middletown NJ (Record: 6-0)

Middletown LL will be making it second consecutive appearance at the Regional.
They went undefeated, beating Freehold Twp. LL in the District Championship.
They will play their first game on August 4th against the Suncook LL from New Hampshire.

New York: East Meadow Little League, East Meadow NY (Record: 5-0)

They will play their first game on August 4th against Delaware.

Pennsylvania: Greencastle Little League, Greencastle PA (Record 13-1)

This is Greencastle's first state championship & trip to the Regional's. They will play their first game on August 5th against the Maine / Rhode Island winner.

Rhode Island: Barrington Little League, Barrington RI (Record: 7-0)

Barrington LL went undefeated in the District and State Tournaments.
They will play the tournament opener on August 4th against the Maine State champs from Bangor Westside/East LL.
