Intermediate Matchup Under the Lights Rays vs. Braves

Under the lights the Rays played the Braves in an intriguing matchup. The Braves got the ball rolling early, scoring four runs in the 1st inning. Tommy S. and John G. were key contributors, as they each collected hits in the inning.

The Rays tied it up in the second inning, as Nick L. and CJ F. singles and an Anthony V. double brought the score of the game to 4-4.

The offense was rolling for the Braves again in the third, as they scored three runs to bring the lead to 7-4.

Nick L. and Jake U. helped the Rays keep the deficit low, throwing two and a third innings and one inning respectively.

The Rays still would not quit, as they chipped away to bring the score to 7-7 in the 4th inning. However, the Braves were firing on all cylinders, as they scored five runs the next inning. Tommy S. closed out the game for the Braves in their 12-9 win.

The Braves’ key to victory was stolen bases in this one, as they swiped six bags in the game, as a couple players had multiple stolen bases.
