Little League Baseball program open to players from ages 5 - 16. Age is determined by how old the player will be as of 8/31/26. Please note: The 2026 FTLL Work Bond will be $150.00 per family this season.

FTLL offers a program for Tee Ball players that is specifically designed to provide a foundation and introduction to baseball that is grounded in fun, fitness, and fundamentals. The Tee Ball program features structured learning, highlighted by practices and games each week. Over the course of the season, players will learn how to hit a ball off a batting tee, run the bases and learn what the positions on the field are called. This is a non-competitive league where scores are not kept. 

This level of play is a mix of Player and Coach pitch games. The focus fosters continued skills development and a better understanding of the rules and nuances of the game. The focus remains on the fun of playing the sport while coaching attention is given to fielding, making plays, accurate throwing, proper hitting technique and preparing the player for the Minors level. 6 year olds with 2 seasons of T-Ball Rookies are also eligible. Also, siblings are guaranteed to be on the same team. 

The Minors Division is for Little League age 8 to 10 year olds and is played on the 46/60 baseball field (46 foot pitcher’s mound / 60 foot base paths). This division is a competitive league with scores, pitch counts, and wins/losses being tallied. The season is approximately 14-16 games plus a single elimination playoff round. Players are selected by managers at a draft after player evaluations that are held prior to team announcement. Roster size is typically 11-13 players. Depending on division enrollment, 8 year olds may be eligible for play to round out rosters at the discretion of the player agent. If interested in your Little League 8 year old playing in the Minors division, they MUST ATTEND the evaluations date announced by Freehold Township Little League prior to team draft selections. There is no guarantee that an 8 year old that tries up during evaluations will be selected by a manager, or that any will be taken depending on roster enrollments. 

The Majors Division is for Little League age 11 and 12 year olds and is played on the 46/60 baseball field (46 foot pitcher’s mound / 60 foot base paths). This division is a competitive league with scores, pitch counts, and wins/losses being tallied. The season is approximately 14-16 games plus a single elimination playoff round. Players are selected by managers at a draft after player evaluations that are held prior to team announcement. Roster size is typically 11-13 players. Depending on division enrollment, 10 year olds may be eligible for play to round out rosters at the discretion of the player agent. If interested in your Little League 10 year old playing in the Majors division, they MUST ATTEND the evaluations date announced by Freehold Township Little League prior to team draft selections. There is no guarantee that a 10 year old that tries up during evaluations will be selected by a manager, or that any will be taken depending on roster enrollments. Once season play begins, interested 10 year olds may sign up with the player agent for guest play opportunities in the Majors division.

The Senior League Baseball Division is for 14-16 year olds, using a conventional 90-foot diamond with a pitching distance of 60 feet, 6 inches. This is a competitive division where scores and standings are kept.
